The Fall is around the corner and it's time to harvest before the cold season begins. In our Knuipe we will enjoy fresh fruit, veggies and all other yammy things. Uncle Sergej will make sure we will not be thirsty either! The Knuipe crew wishes you all a pleasant late Summer and early Autumn!
The good news is that there are now four places in the UK offering good enclosures and care for Polar Bears.
They are sufficiently close that Polars can be moved between them by road and the bears get klicker training to go into boxes without risking anesthetics.

I am very sad about Miki.
Today is rainy and grey.
Gronklitt has claimed its first victim. Miki sadly has died while Ewa has safely arrived at a park near.Ipswich. It appears that Miki had a heart defect and the stress caused by having to move killed her.
The new enclosure at Jimmy's Farm looks enormous and Ewa has been photoed there.
I hope that the fact that there are now four polar bear sites in the UK will not reduce visitor numbers to Kincraig and Doncaster.
