Even though the Winters nowadays are not what they used to be I hope we will have a wonderful Winter time anyway - with or without snow!

Happy Birthday Ralph. I hope that you have a good time on your special day.
It is -9C with cloudy skies. It is strangely very bright outside with no sun shining. We received a fair bit of snow this week. Sunday/Monday saw another 20 cm of heavy wet snow that required the help of my snowthrower. Wednesday and Thursday we had separate snowfalls of 5-6cm but it was light fluffy snow that was easy to shovel.
The temperatures have stayed in the -10C range all week. Winter is definitely here. A white Christmas looks possible this year, but you never know if we will get a mild spell.
