Mervi, thank goodness the World Cup is finally over – it was incredibly tiring, with that far too long group stage.The only good thing about it was that the small island nation of Cape Verde managed to make such a name for itself. For me, they and the Norwegian team were the real highlights of the tournament! The Norwegian team, together with their fans, clearly showed everyone that football is a g a m e that’s meant to be fun, despite all the ambition to win. That’s a message which will hopefully be remembered positively and for a long time to come.

Good morning! Guten Morgen! The football WC is over now and I'm more than happy that Spain won the gold! They were better than Argentine from the beginning to the end. It was a shame that some Argentine players - especially Paredes - got totally nuts after realizing they lost. Messi at least showed some class. - The Orange Face managed once more to be a disgrace and embarrasment to his country. The idiot thought the audience was cheering him … what a moron! - The 'shows' before the game started and during the pause were incredibly boring - and what has Tom Cruise to do with football?
